Delete your Ember account
Use this page to delete your cloud sync account for Ember, the Android ↔ Mac sync app by CoolSolve LLP.
You only have an account if you signed in to use cloud sync. Syncing over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi doesn't use an account.

Your account has been deleted
If an Ember account used , it's now deleted, along with its sessions and sign-in codes. Devices that were signed in will stop using cloud sync within an hour.
Your pairings and synced content are still on your devices. To remove them, unpair your devices in Ember and uninstall the apps. You can keep using Ember over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi without an account.
What gets deleted
Deleted immediately
- Your email address and account record (account ID, creation date and plan)
- All your sessions, which signs your devices out of cloud sync
- Any unused sign-in codes
Not on our servers
- Your pairings
- Everything you've synced: clipboard items, images, files and notifications
These only ever lived on your devices. To remove them, unpair your devices in Ember and uninstall the apps.
Access tokens already issued to your devices stop working within an hour. Request logs kept by our hosting provider, Cloudflare (IP addresses and request details), are deleted automatically, currently after 7 days. If you've emailed us, we keep that correspondence only as long as we need it to handle your request. The privacy policy has more detail.
Other ways to delete your account
- In the app: on Android or Mac, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account.
- By email: write to mail@balakumar.dev from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll delete it and reply to confirm.
